Macro can be humorous too

Looking from a different perspective, some of my macro photos can be humorous too.  They reflect the going-ons in the bugs kingdom which is seldomed viewed by humans.

A confused lynx spider staring at a dead ant.  Is this food or is it an intruder?

Hang on it their dear life.  These two ants must have stumbled along the way and found themselves in a very awkward situation.

Everyone is invited to the party!

Sleeping frogs

While searching for bugs at the foothill of Bukit Gasing, I came upon a pair of sleeping frogs.  It was already 10.00 am and the sun was blazing down, but this pair of frogs were nicely tucked under some shady plants.  As they remain still, it was quite difficult to spot them as their skin was well camouflage with the surrounding.  These are common frogs found in the lowlands in Malaysia.

I have the opportunity to take some shots at my own pace as they were in dreamland.  During the night these frogs are very active as they hunt insects.
